Innovation Strategy ‘In 2010 a high-rate 4 colour pad printing machine was incorporated into our class 1000 clean room’ The part functions as a dosage indicator which is assembled onto an inhaler. The pad printing operation is carried out on a special machine having a revolving plate with 16 place settings. The wheel is guided onto place settings visually by means of 2 cameras. Four marker heads enable the colours Red – Yellow—Green – Black to be pad printed. In view of the high production rate involved, parts undergo high-speed Infra Red-induced drying and are controlled 100% before discharge by 4 cameras which guarantee both the visual and dimensional quality of markings.
